Description

This is a legit book from Matthew’s bedroom at Green Gables! Please read:
Many props are often custom made for filming. However, some are what’s called “found items” because they are directly purchased and not “created” by production. The “Language of Flowers” book (which I actually own) seen in the final episode is a perfect example of a custom made prop. But most books used on set are found items. The book in this auction is one such found item. It’s a genuine old book. But look closely at the arrow in the first pic shown and you will see that the “damage” aka “wear & tear” on the spine of this book proves that it is 100% the one actually used on set for filming!!!!! This is a great piece of Green Gables history because it was on set for all 3 seasons of filming!!!! The last pic in my listing shows EXACTLY where this prop was located in Matthew’s bedroom. Anne walked by it a few times for sure.
Would make a great display piece!
Back in March 2020 almost the entire set from ANNE was auctioned off. I won a ton of stuff! Keeping some for my personal collection and letting go of the rest. Everything from the sale was legit used on set but… the auction house did not issue a COA for anything!!!!
